My name is Ciaran McNally and I'm from Dublin, Ireland. My main interests are Music and technology. My music tastes generally are of the metal or psytrance variety. I spend a lot of my time working, reading or hacking away at things and the remainder of my time is spent pursuing adventure...

I have recently completed an honours Bsc. in Computer Applications and Software Engineering in DCU (2014) and I also possess a certificate in Ethical hacking and Information security services.

I am fascinated by information security and many of the different areas surrounding it. It's a very interesting and exciting field as it blends the lines between work and play. Throughout college I was heavily involved with Redbrick Networking Society, I spent a year as an Events Officer, one as a Webmaster and then a final year as an Administrator. I am still an active associate member and have made many friends there.

I am currently available for freelance contract security consulting @ www.securit.ie. I have previously worked at Rits Information Security as a Consultant. Before that I was a Student Network engineer in HEAnet, Irelands Research and Education Network. I am a supporter and donator to the EFF and the Irish Red Cross.
